Teaching materials is the major tool for students to learn a foreign language and its quality to great extent determines the outcome of learning. Up to now China has published lots of teaching materials on Russian, making great contribution to the cultivation of talented people on Russian. However, problems do exist with regard to the compilation of teaching materials. We should follow the principles of teaching materials compilation and advanced concepts on foreign language teaching to improve students' comprehensive skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation.
