Abstract:	小說〈嫁粧一牛車〉由原作者王禎和改編為電影劇本，其特殊的文學形式與內涵須轉化為影像聲音本自不易措手。作者用心探索可資對應的代換元素，以呈現文字的嘉年華、渲染笑鬧調性並彰顯命運無奈的題旨。然而因為相異載體表達上的落差及對小說空缺處的演繹，劇本與原著面貌已產生差距。 Zhen-He, Wang, the author of The Ox-Cart Filled with Dowry, adapted his novel for a film script. It is hard to transform such a special literary style and the content of the novel itself into a film with images and sounds. The author carefully explores replaceable elements which correspond with the original novel to display a carnival of words, exaggerate the hilariousness, and highlight the theme of a hopeless destiny. However, due to a great gap between expressions represented in different medias and different interpretations of the empty sections in the novel, the film script becomes a different representation compared with the original novel.
