Abstract:	淮南地區為唐代時期的農業精華區之一，淮南地區的糧食作物及茶、麻、葛等經濟作物的生產，亦有相當的進步。淮南地區以平原和盆地為主要地形，大部分地區地勢相當平坦，並且境內大小河川甚多，使得農業灌溉十分便利，故農業經濟有相當的發展。加以淮南地區，處於南北交流的關鍵位置，使其在農業技術的發展方面，居於江淮地區之首；因此安史之亂後，包括淮南在內的江淮地區逐漸成為唐政府的賦稅淵藪。淮南地區因有良好自然環境，加以耕作技術的進步和水利灌溉設施的興修，致使農業生產有良好的發展。 Huainan area was one of the agriculture flourishing regions in Tang Dynasty, and its production of food and economic crops, such as tea, hemp, kudzu, etc, was quite advanced there. Terrains in Huainan area were primarily plains and basins, and most parts were fairly flat with many rivers and creeks, which facilitated irrigation and made agriculture economy develop considerably.Additionally, the development of agriculture techniques in Huainan area was also the top one within the whole Jianghuai region because it situated right in the crucial location among interactions between the North and South. Therefore, Jianghuai region, including Huainan, gradually became the major tax source in Tang Dynasty government after Rebellion.Overall, agricultural production developed exceedingly in Huainan area because of its appropriate natural environment, advanced farming techniques, and the reconstruction of irrigation facilities.
