克勞斯化工程式是商業上由酸性氣體中回收硫元素最常的方法。在設計和發展階段,此化工程式的仿真是非常重要的。目前的仿真程式經常碰到兩項問題,即收斂和模組化的問題。本研究主要欲解決此兩問題。在此我們利用Levenberg-Marquardt法來消除收斂的問題。並且有流程中加入更多的單元操作如預熱器,混合器、分離器等以解決模組化的問題。
The Claus process is the most widely used commercial process to recover element sulfur from acid gas streams. Hence there is a great need to simulate Claus process plants for design and development purposes. The current simulation program for the Claus process, SULPLT, has two major disadvantages the convergence problem and the lack of modularity. This project is intended to improve in these two areas. The procedure will be (1) to incorporate the Levenberg-Marquardt method and the continuation methods into the Gibbs free energy minimization subroutines to eliminate convergence difficulties, and (2) to add more process Units such as preheaters, mixers, and splitters and to permit multiple input/output streams so that the program can simulate various flow sheets.
