本研究旨在發展-新穎程序來製造PMMA樹脂拉擠成型複合材料。而其加工特性變數包括MMA預聚合物合成、模具溫度、動態機械性質、填充劑含量,環境效應和再成型之可行性、由DSC圖和分子量之測定可得到最佳之模具溫度,由動態測試可得知在某一溫度範圍內材料之daming行爲、而由PMMA拉擠成型之複合材料之機械性質和熱性質可知其有優異特性和耐候性,且此材料可再成形加工,而得到更優異之性質。除了碳纖維/PMMA複合材料外,其餘玻璃纖維/PMMA和克維拉(聚醯胺)纖維/PMMA複合材料皆遵守混合法則,此乃因爲碳纖維在加工過程中容易段裂所致。
A novel process has been developeed to manufacture PMMA pultruded part. Procesing parameters regarding the PMMA pultrusion including PMMA prepolymer preparation operating die temperature and dynamic mechanical properties, filler level、environment effect、postformability of pultruded fiber reinforced PMMA composties are described. From DSC diagram and molecular weight test that the optimum die temperature were found. The dynamic technique was used to determine the damping behaviour over a temperature range. From mechanical and thermal properties studies it was found that PMMA pultruded composties show excellent properties and good weather resistance. The pultruded parts can be thermformed. Tensile strength of composite follow the rule of mixture, except carbon fiber/PMMA composites due to the fiber breakage during processing.
