    Title: Determination of the Writing Sequence of Crossing Strokes by CIELAB Color System and Sample Duplication

    Abstract: 本文是描述判定不同顏色交叉點順序的方法,我們的研究使用記錄色點的色度資訊,基於色度量測資料在色空間分佈的特徵型式,透過該特徵型式之比對以成功地確認複製標本之正確性及正確判定問題文件交叉點之書寫先後順序。我們的方法在自動簽名可靠系統上提供一種容易執行量化研究的技術。
    首先,問題文書交叉點和它附近兩個不同顏色的單色點分別使用MSP(Microspec-trophotometry)以獲取其等之CIELAB色空間系統之三個參數值:明度(L(上標 *))、紅綠軸(a(上標 *))及黃藍軸(b(上標 *)),然後在問題文書的其他兩不同顏色之筆劃上分別找出與問題文書交叉點附近單色點相近似之其他單色點處,選擇適合複製的筆墨進行複製已知不同順序之樣本交叉點供比對。
    所量測之各色度資訊以(SPC)統計製程控制方法有效去採取樣本色點資訊述建立一個均勺的色度分佈球體,透過CIELAB色空間特徵型式之抽取分別可獲取各樣本交叉點之彩度(C(上標 *)ab)、色相角(h(上標 *)ab)及問題文書交叉點與兩復製樣本交叉點問之色差(△E(上標 *)0i, i=1 or 2),經由比對問題文書交叉點(0)與複製兩已知不同順序交叉點(1 or 2)之色差最小值及各交叉點色值在CIELAB均勻色空間群集分佈所形成球體交集面積之最大值,則未知問題文書的書寫順序將可因最近似複製樣本之確該而判定。
    This paper describes a method to determine the writing sequence of two crossing strokes which have different colors. Our approach employed the color measurement to record a kind of color point. Basing the patterns of color data distributed in the color space, pattern matching is used to ensure a successful sample duplication.
    Our method offer a quantatative approach which is easier to implement in an auto signature authentic system.
    First, the color of examined crossing and its two component pure colored points are measured by the three parameters of CIE (Commission Internationable de 1, Echairage) LAB color system. They are Lightness (L(superscript *)), Chroma(C(superscript *)ab) and Hue angle(h(superscript *)ab). By using this color measurement and some suitable pens and paper, we can duplicate two crossing samples having opposite writing sequences. The color of their pure colored points are most similar to their respective pure color points are most similar to their respective pure color of the examined crossing. Finally, via matching the colors of the examined and the two duplicating samples, the writing sequence of the examined can be determined as the more similar duplicating sample.
    Our data shows that this method can provide an easy, objective and quantitative measurement for the determination of the writing sequence.
