Abstract: The research was conducted in the Chamaecyparis formosana plantation forest in Xiaoguanshan forest road of the Lukuei area. We used GER1500 field spectrometer and Ground-based LiDAR to measure and analyze the differences and relationships between leaves, branches, and stems reflectance of C. formosana from May to July 2009. The result showed that we could separate leaves, branches, and stems by GER1500 field spectrometer (P<0.01), and the three materials were significantly different in spectral reflectance and raw intensity of Ground-based LiDAR(P<0.01). According to the results, the application of these two methods can be used in vegetation remote sensing technique and automatic classification of Ground-based LiDAR.
