The purpose of the study was to investigate the influence of yoga training on flexibility and power of baseball players. Fifty baseball players who were further divided into two groups (control group and yoga training group) participated in this study. The training of each group was conducted three times a week for sixconsecutiveweeks. All of the subjects experienced tests of sit and reachand counter movement jump before and after the six-weektraining period.Two-way mixed design factorial Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used to compare main effects and interactions. Results showed that the flexibility of the yoga training group was significantly higher than the control group.Meanwhile, the power of the yoga training group was significantly higher than the control group. In conclusion, yoga training showed significant contribution to increase the flexibility and power of the subjects.
