    摘要: 對於初級華語學習者來說,要同時進行聽、說、讀、寫的學習實屬不易。同屬漢字文化圈的日籍學習者,雖然具有漢字背景,有著「贏在起跑點」的先備優勢,然而聽說和讀寫兩項技能卻發展不平衡。本研究以四名女性日籍初級華語學習者為研究對象,旨在利用日籍學習者在漢字閱讀及書寫的先備優勢,提高其自信心和學習興趣,更進一步提升口語表達的能力。本研究歷時十二週,共計90小時,過程中,研究者觀察及記錄學習者口語學習的情形及所遭遇的問題,並以學習者的前測與後測語料、口語能力評量、信心表現與參與度評量為研究工具,以探討學習者在口語表達、交際溝通的學習表現進步情形。研究結果顯示出四名日籍學習者在語音聲調、詞彙、句型語法、交際表達方面均有錯誤次數減少的進步情形。在信心表現及參與度方面也隨著課程的進行而顯示進步。
    本研究最後提出針對日籍初級學習者口語教學的建議及未來研究方向。

    For beginning learners of Chinese as a second language, it is quite arduous to concomitantly study listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. For Japanese learners who share the use of the Chinese characters, with their previous background knowledge of the characters, they enjoy a natural “head start”, though their listening and speaking competencies and reading and writing skills may develop unevenly. The purpose of the study was to find out if the four subjects were able to use their natural native Japanese advantage with Chinese character proficiency to enhance their confidence and interest in learning, and to accelerate their oral expressive communication skills. The study lasted twelve weeks, with 90 hours of instruction, and during the process, the researcher observed and documented the learners’ oral performance and any problems that arose, as well as used as research tools the learners’ pre and post tests, oral language proficiency tests, confidence and participation measures, to investigate the progress of the learners’ oral performance and communication skills. The results indicated that for the four Japanese learners, their phonetics, tones, vocabulary, oral grammar, and communication skills all experienced progress as measured through reductions in errors. Their confidence and participation levels also appreciably increased with the progress of the course. The study also suggested future research directions for investigation of beginning Japanese learners’ oral learning of Chinese.
