Abstract: Seeds of 15 different species in 13 genera of crops grown for their flowers were health-tested by a blotter method. Thirty-one different species of fungi in 19 genera were found in these seeds. Among them, Alternaria cosmosa on yellow cosmos and Colletotrichum dematium on pansy were new records of seed-borne pathogens. Newly recorded seed-borne fungi existed in seeds of the all species of flowering species tested except for ageratum, baby's breath, salvia, statice, and stokesia.
