摘要:	李石樵一生為藝術工作所做的努力可被視為台灣油畫發展的簡史。除卻繪畫藝術的才華之外，他在拓展台灣美術教育方面亦有卓越的貢獻。李石樵在萬米長跑的繪畫創作中，不斷地求新、求變，繪畫風格經歷了數度的蛻變，終於創造出屬於李石樵個人的獨特風格。透過其不同時期作品的風貌，可印證出他一生堅忍與執著的創作毅力。為了解李石樵的繪畫，筆者搜集坊間已有的各種資料，針對其生平與繪畫學習過程作一仔細地分析，進而深入探究李石樵的創作理念之緣起及其創作的原動力。筆者將其畫作：諸如人物畫、靜物畫、風景畫、抽象形成表現等類型之不同時期作品相互比較，並闡述其創作媒材的使用、色彩表現及空間感的表現技法。最後就李石樵的繪畫創作作一總評，藉以探討他在美術的成就與貢獻。 Lee Shi-qiao’s life-long devotion to arts can be described as the concise development history of oil painting in Taiwan, and his talent in painting is supplemented by his contribution in the promotion of fine arts education in Taiwan. In his marathon of painting, Lee Shi-qiao sought to renew and transform his style; after a few transformation, he developed one uniquely his own. Works from different stages of his life reveal a persistent and persevering spirit that he had towards painting. To better understand Lee’s works, the author collected existing information on Lee and did an in-depth analysis of his life and learning process in painting, and further studied the origin of his creative ideology and motives. The author divided Lee’s works into different genres—portrait, still life, landscape, abstract—and cross-compared them by the different stages in his life. The author also elaborated on the media Lee employed in his paintings, as well as his use of colors and expression of spatial relationship. Lastly, the author commented on Lee’s works and discussed his achievements and contributions in arts.
