摘要: | MMS是極具創造性和獨特性的新型態人際溝通媒介,對喜歡求新求變、期盼獨立特性的青少年來說,具有非常獨特的吸引力。本研究希望通過調查可以得知青少年對MMS的認知,使用MMS的動機,以及使用MMS與否是否會影響其與人際溝通的方式。
本研究採問卷調查法,根據金車文教基金會2006年初所做的調查指出,大學生擁有與使用手機手機的比例在青少年中是最高的,因此在北部地區選取一般大學與技職大學學生作問卷調查,採立意抽樣方式,共回收982份有效問卷。
從調查結果顯示,15-20歲的大學生,個人每月收入在5000元以下,家庭收入在30001至60000元,每天上網5小時以上,看電視2小時以上不到3小時,看報紙半小時以下,幾乎從不收聽廣播的男性,擁有MMS功能的手機,使用MMS功能的動機最強。
在使用的滿意程度上,「MMS手機能夠滿足我對於手機的需求」滿意程度最高,但是對「瞭解MMS能夠提供那些服務與功能」的不滿意程度最高。
使用者對於MMS這個新興媒體的特性,已經相當肯定,使用者認為「費用」是吸引使用MMS最強烈的動機。
