金融資產證券化乃一於國外行之多年，惟適於我國啟蒙之金融制度。自2002年7月「金融資產證券化條例」及2003年7月「不動產證券化條例」通過之後，始宣告著資產證券化金融商品將在台灣市場誕生，在可預見的未來，資產證券化商品將會在台灣金融市場佔有重要角色。
信用卡應收債權證券化屬金融資產證券化的一種。信用卡債權證券化的好處在於未涉及抵押權，現金流量單純，所以發行較易，台灣目前已正式完成交易的證券化商品中，安信信用卡出售債權予荷銀一案即為此類代表。
本篇論文以信用卡應收帳款證券化為研究之重點與主軸，其研究目的：信用卡債權證券化後銀行的經營績效是否會改善。
在研究結論方面，本研究將針對本研究不同目的之其信用卡證券化之DMU與沒有信用卡債權證券化之DMU做比較分析，包括複迴歸結果分析、差額變數分析、效率結果分析此三項，其研究結果是經過信用卡債權證券化後的銀行績效將會改善。
Financial asset securitization is a newly introduced financial system to the market of Taiwan, yet, it has been put into practice in many foreign countries for a long time. Taiwan Legislative Yuan had passed Financial Asset Securitization Regulations in 2002 and Real Estate Securitization Regulations in 2003. The advent of ABS will lead the financial marker prosperously in Taiwan from now on.
Credit card receivables backed securitization is one kind of Asset Backed Securitization. The benefits of credit card receivables-backed securities include less legal constraints and simpler cash flow than other kinds of MBS; therefore, they’re easier to issue. For financial institutions, credit card ABS can reduce the costs of raising funds and improve the financial structures.
One of the most important acts is the Financial Asset Securitization Law. The purposes of this study are as follows: Whether the management efficiency of the bank will have improved after the credit card asset-backed securitization.
