| 摘要: | A disease of unknown origin occurred at a giant grouper (Epinephelus lanceolatus) farm in Taiwan. The monthly morbidity and mortality was 20-30 fish out of 10,000, showing seriously swollen abdomen as the lead symptom. Pathological and microbiological investigations revealed no specific disease agents. The symptoms disappeared shortly after addition of vitamin C and E to the diet formula. |
