    Abstract: 本研究乃以《1800年代晚報─新聞點對點》為研究對象,從2013年5月1日至2013年10月31日,進行為期六個月的新聞內容與收視率數字比對抽樣,共得樣本數387則,並以內容分析法進行研究,希望了解時事評論節目最熱衷的談論或選播什麼類型的新聞,而製作單位的選擇是否與閱聽人真正的收視喜好相同,還是硬是「餵食」他們自以為觀眾喜歡的新聞內容。

      研究結果顯示,新聞編輯室往往喜歡選用「政治」、「生活」、「社會」類的新聞,而且最喜歡的新聞主題乃是「批評官員」,次之為「社會法治」,第三順位則為「政治人事」,顯示新聞編輯室偏好選用內含挑戰政治人物、監督政府官員之較具刺激、批判性的新聞;然而就收視成績表現,閱聽人除了喜歡「政治」、「社會」類新聞,更關注與自身相關的「地方新聞」,而且對「選舉議題」、「政治揭弊」與「政治人事」等新聞主題內容高度熱衷,明顯與新聞製播單位產生出入。至於就新聞的播出形式與長度,無論是新聞編輯室還是閱聽人,皆喜歡觀看新聞畫面與記者配音融合完成的新聞帶,但新聞編輯室喜歡選播2~3分鐘的短新聞,而閱聽人則較能接受長度在5~7分鐘的深度報導。

      研究也對現行收視率調查機制的缺失提出質疑,期許進入數位電視時代後,有更周延的收視率調查機制供實務界參考。

    This study is based on " ERA Evening News ─ News Point to Point" as the object of study, from May 1, 2013 to October 31, 2013. For a period of six months news content and ratings comparison sample. Total sample size was 387, and content analysis research, hoping to understand current affairs programs are most keen to talk about or what type of news. And the choice of producers and audiences are really the same viewing preferences, or simply "feeding" they think the audience likes the news content.

      The results show that newsrooms tend to prefer the "political", "life", "social" class news and favorite news topics but "criticized officials', followed by the" social rule of law ", the third overall as "political personnel," display newsroom preference selection contains challenge politicians, government officials supervising the more stimulation, the critical news. However, viewing the results on the performance, in addition to the audience like "politics", "social" class news, more concerned with their associated "local news", but also "election issue", "political whistleblowing" and "political personnel", etc. News highly enthusiastic about the subject matter, obviously out of news production and broadcast units produced. As regards the form and length of broadcast news, both the newsroom or the audience, are like watching news footage and news reporters dubbed Fusion finish with, but the newsroom like 2 to 3 minutes shorter news, and audiences are more likely to accept a length of 5 to 7 minutes in-depth reports.

    The study also investigating the ratings on the existing mechanisms for missing questioned, hopes to enter the digital TV era, there are more circumspect ratings survey mechanism for practitioners reference.
