Abstract: The occasion of the electromagnetic interference (EMI) is essentially electrical, with unwanted electromagnetic emission being either radiated or conducted. The main goal of this investigation is to develop conductive textile composites with desirable properties of electromagnetic shielding effectiveness (EMSE). The shielding effectiveness properties of the conductive fabrics reinforced thermoplastic composites were investigate in this study. The copper wire and stainless steel wire were wrapping with polyamide filaments to reduce the friction and tenacity during weaving and knitting process, enabling the successful weaving and knitting of hybrid conductive yam, RTCY namely. The co-woven-knitted fabric and woven fabric were fabricated with RTCY to reach desired electromagnetic shielding properties. The shielding effectiveness of different textile processes and materials are also investigated with various measurement techniques. This investigation tried to evaluate the shielding effectiveness via various measurement techniques and test standards. This investigation carried out with three kind of different coaxial transmission line testing chambers for ASTM 4935, ASTM ES7 and self-constructed one. The various chambers have different wave processing modes on testing. The shielding effectiveness was measured with different test method and test standard to compare the differences between various measurement systems and try to express the contrast between different wave processing modes on testing.
