Previous studies state that there may be an unclear relationship between perceptions of organizational politics (POPS) and error reporting intention. By reasoning, perceptions of organizational politics(POPS) and its three dimensions (general political behavior、go along to get ahead、pay and promotion policies) affect subordinates’ error reporting intention. Also, this study aims to explore the moderating effect of error management culture. Data for this study were obtained by means of questionnaires from full-time employees in multiple industries. 200 questionnaires were sent out and the valid questionnaires were 143 by deleting incomplete or poor response questionnaires. A hierarchical regression analysis was taken to test 8 hypotheses. The results show that perceptions of organizational politics(POPS) and its three dimensions (general political behavior、go along to get ahead、pay and promotion policies) is associated negatively with error reporting intention. But error management culture does not have the moderating effect on them. In this study, suggestions of practice and future research are also provided.
