    摘要: 本研究主要目的在於瞭解新北市新住民家庭之國中生子女於不同背景變項下,對其閱讀行為、閱讀動機和閱讀理解能力有何影響,以及閱讀行為、閱讀動機和閱讀理解能力是否具有正相關,藉此提升國中生的閱讀活動推廣和風氣。擬定研究的目的如下:
    壹、瞭解個人基本變項(性別、年級、家庭社經地位)在國中生的閱讀行為、閱讀動機、閱讀理解能力之現況。
    貳、分析個人基本變項(性別、年級、家庭社經地位)在國中生的閱讀行為、閱讀動機、閱讀理解能力的差異性。
    三、驗證國中生的閱讀行為、閱讀動機與閱讀理解能力之相關性。
    肆、驗證個人基本變項(性別、年級、家庭社經地位)、國中生的閱讀行為、閱讀動機對閱讀理解能力的預測性。
    伍、提供研究結果給父母、老師、學校、社會大眾和有關單位做為推廣國中生閱讀風氣之相關結論與依據。
    本研究對像為新北市新住民家庭的七、八、九年級國中生子女共239人,採用三項研究工具施測調查,分別為「閱讀行為量表」、連國樑(2007)和蔡依芳(2010)所編製的「閱讀動機量表」、賴慶雄(2012)所編製的《深度閱讀測驗》,資料結果分析如下:
    壹、新住民家庭國中生的性別、年級對國中生的閱讀行為沒有顯著影響,但家庭社經地位對閱讀行為有顯著影響。
    貳、新住民家庭國中生的性別對國中生的閱讀動機沒有顯著影響,但年級和家庭社經地位對閱讀動機有顯著影響。
    三、新住民家庭國中生的性別對國中生的閱讀理解能力沒有顯著影響,但年級和家庭社經地位對閱讀理解能力皆有顯著影響。
    肆、新住民家庭國中生的閱讀行為、閱讀動機與閱讀理解能力彼此具有相關性。
    伍、新北市新住民家庭國中生的閱讀行為、閱讀動機對閱讀理解能力具有預測力。
    就整體而言,新北市新住民家庭國中生子女其閱讀行為、閱讀動機會影響閱讀理解能力的程度,並與其家庭社經地位亦有密切的關係。因此,找出學生的閱讀動機,培養其養成閱讀習慣,並教導新北市新住民家庭知父母和國中生子女多利用各種閱讀資源,對子女的閱讀理解能力將能有所提昇。
    The study mainly aims to learn how different background variables of junior high school students from new immigrants』 families in New Taipei City influence their reading behaviors、reading motivations and reading comprehension ability、as well as whether these three show positive correlation、so as to improve the reading activity promotion and atmosphere of the junior high school students. The study objectives are as below:
    Ⅰ、Learn the current situation of the reading behaviors、reading motivations and reading comprehension ability for the junior high school students with personal basic variables(gender、grade、social and economic status of the family).
    Ⅱ、Analyze the difference of the reading behaviors、reading motivations and reading comprehension ability for the junior high school students with personal basic variables(gender、grade、social and economic status of the family).
    Ⅲ、Verify the correlation between the reading behaviors、reading motivations and reading comprehension ability for the junior high school students.
    Ⅳ、Verify the predictability of the personal basic variables (gender、grade、social and economic status of the family)、reading behaviors、and reading motivations of the junior high school students towards their reading comprehension ability.
    Ⅴ、Provide the related conclusions and foundation for the parents、teachers、schools、mass public and relevant institutions to promote the reading atmosphere among the junior high school students.
    The study takes 239 Grade Seven、Eight and Nine students from new immigrants』 families of New Taipei City as the subjects、adopts the following three study tools to conduct investigation、namely、「Reading Behaviors Scale」、「Reading Motivations Scale 」 compiled by Lian Guodong(2007) and Tsai Yifang(2010)、「In-depth Reading Quiz」 compiled by Lai Qingxiong(2012)、obtaining the data analysis results as below:
    Ⅰ、The gender and grade of the junior high school students from new immigrants』 families don’t have significant influence on their reading behaviors、while the social and economic status of family shows significant influence.
    Ⅱ、The gender of the junior high school students from new immigrants』 families don’t have significant influence on their reading motivations、while the grade and social and economic status of family show significant influence.
    Ⅲ、The gender of the junior high school students from new immigrants』 families don’t have significant influence on their reading comprehension ability、while the grade and social and economic status of family show significant influence.
    Ⅳ、The reading behaviors、reading motivations and reading comprehension ability of the junior high school students from new immigrants』 families show correlation.
    Ⅴ、The reading behaviors and reading motivations of the junior high school students from new immigrants』 families have predictability towards their reading comprehension ability.
    On the whole、the reading behaviors and reading motivations of the junior high school students from new immigrants』 families in New Taipei City show influence on the degree of reading comprehension ability、and are closely correlated with their social and economic status. Therefore、it will improve the reading comprehension ability of the students if finding out their reading motivation、cultivating their reading habits、and instructing the parents and junior high school students from new immigrants』 families in New Taipei City to make good use of various reading resources.
