Purpose: The aims of this study was to investigate the different types of sport injury and parts of body-affected in athletes of Chinese Culture University during 2010-2013 for the foundation of preventing the injury and lowering the occurrences of injury. The data were retrieved from the athlete training room at Chinese Culture University for analyzing five sports: basketball, baseball, track and field, Taekwondo, and Judo, respectively. Methods: There were 180 collegiate players recruiting in the study. The mean of descriptive statistics was used to describe the situation of athlete injury and to explore the trend and changes of sport injuries. Pearson product-moment correlation was for analyzing the different parts of body injuries. Otherwise, the research carried out a statistical analysis of five varied independent variables and fifteen dependent variables by adopting One-way ANOVA for the significant difference, and Scheffe’s method for the post-hoc comparison. The significant level was set at α=.05. Results: In basketball sport, the highest occurrence of injury was ankles (57%). ankles and knees were shown the moderate correlation (r=.616). The occurrences of injuries in baseball sport were as follows: shoulder (25%), elbows (19%), ankles (12%); and the back and fingers were shown moderate correlation (r=.397), shoulders and wrists reached the significant level (p<.05) in the post hoc. The occurrences of injuries in track and field were as follows: wrists (36%), ankles (27%), calves (9%); and the back and ankles were shown moderate correlation (r=.524), shoulders and thighs reached the significant level (p<.05) in the post hoc. The occurrences of injuries in Taekwondo were as follows: wrists (77%), knees (12%), toes (4%); and the knees and ankles were shown high correlation (r=.714), ankles reached the significant level (p<.05) in the post hoc. The occurrences of injuries in Judo were as follows: fingers (40%), ankles (30%), knees (15%), elbows (6%); and the knees and ankles were shown moderate correlation (r=.566), elbows, fingers, back, knees, calves, toes reached the significant level (p<.05) in the post hoc. Conclusion: It was found that the most frequent occurrences in sports at Chinese Culture University were as follows: knees, ankles, and shoulders, and especially in training. Further study should focus on the implementation of effective strategies for athletes to diminish the frequency of sports injuries.
