    Title: 從莫拉克風災看慢性病老年人災難衝擊與壓力因應-以三位屏東縣佳冬鄉老年人為例

    摘要: 摘要
    本研究旨在探討慢性病老年人遭遇莫拉克風災之災難衝擊與壓力因應經驗,為達此研究目的,本研究欲探討研究問題如下:
    1. 慢性病老年人如何看待自身生病經驗與壓力困境?
    2. 慢性病老年人遭遇災難時之身心壓力經驗為何?
    3. 慢性病老年人遭遇災難後之壓力因應經驗為何?

      本研究採取敘事研究法中的「整體-內容」分析資料,針對三位慢性病老年人災難與壓力因應經驗故事進行分析與詮釋,並予以統整、分析與比較,藉此回應本研究問題。
      研究結果發現:
    1. 慢性病老年人的壓力困境包括:性命遭受威脅、感受身體明顯不舒服、對他人依賴感到罪疚、不斷歷經失去、行動自由受到限制、他們傾向將生病原因歸咎命運。
    2. 慢性病老年人遭遇災難時之身心壓力經驗包括:
    (1) 災難衝擊經驗包括:一度瀕臨死亡處境、成為身心受創者、成為身心受創的倖存者、重建之路孤獨與艱辛、創傷成為生活的一部分。
    (2) 內在經歷:安全感與信賴感的流失、身心狀態與功能失序、自尊與自我價值感低落。
    3. 慢性病老年人藉由親友支持撫慰傷痛、肯認自身命運持續與死亡搏鬥、人生信仰與哲學來因應災後壓力。

      本研究以訪談文本的整理、分析與討論,幫助讀者能了解慢性病老年人災難衝擊與壓力因應之經驗,並希望藉由本研究提供罹病與遭遇災難之老年人、心理諮商實務工作者、後續研究者若干建議與參考。

    Abstract
      This research aimed to explore disaster impacts and stress copes among chronically ill elderly who suffered from Morakot typhoon. There were several the research questions the present study investigated:
    1. How their illness experience and pressure due to Morakot typhoon?
    2. What were their experience of physical and mental pressures from Morakot typhoon?
    3. What were their stress coping experiences due to Morakot typhoon?

      This study used the narrative research method holistic- content analysis data. We targeted three elderly and analyzed the narrative of their experience from Morakot typhoon.
      Our findings showed that:

    1. Their illness experiences and pressures from the typhoon disaster included: life being under tremendous threat, physical discomfort, feeling guilty for the dependency, losing, limitied behaviors and their inclination to ascribe the disease causes to the destiny.
    2. The disaster pressures on their physical and mental health were:
    (1)The impulsion experiences of the disaster included: once dying situation, physical or mental sufferers, become traumatized survivor, the loneliness and hardships on the road of reconstruction, trauma becoming a part of life.
    (2)The inherent experience included: loss of sense of security and trust, the disorder of the physical and mental status and function, low self-esteem and self-worth.
    3. The elderly with chronic disease can alleviate the pain from the support and comfort of their friends and families, fight against the coming death despite of their destiny and cope with the disaster pressures by the life beliefs and philosophy.

    This study used interviewing and then analyzing the narrative of interviewee’s experience will help understand the impacts and stress due to the disaster among the elderly with chronic illnesses. The results will serve as preliminary findings for future research and provide fundamental understanding for clinical practitioners.
