本文旨在說明《雙簧》電影劇本之創作理念及過程,內容包含劇本的各項設計理念與所應用的理論基礎。說明了劇本的創作動機、取材以及創作方法,並闡述了劇本的主題思想與期望效果。劇本情節與事件的編排是以亞里斯多德的《詩學》為基礎,在輔以其他的編劇叢書來完成故事。在事件的衝突與危機,參考了姚一葦於《戲劇理論》中,各家對戲劇意志論所提出的「衝突說」、「危機說」與「調和說」。人物塑造在部分應用了卡爾.容格的原型理論,並設計出在性格與行為上,能夠符合戲劇動作的人物。在劇本對白與場景敘述,參考了許多影視編劇叢書,以期劇本表現能達到近代的影視媒體水準。劇本中並溶入了歌舞片的元素以增添娛樂效果,但以符合劇情安排,不脫離寫實的方式於劇中呈現。最後在劇本中,應用符號學的方式來傳遞各項訊息,期望劇本閱讀者能對劇本內容的有更深入的感受。希望以此創作理念所編寫之劇本,能夠成為同時擁有學術與娛樂價值的作品。從學術方面來看,是依靠理論作為創作的根基,使作品不流於憑藉著一時靈感的發想而隨心所欲之作。從娛樂方面來看,足以成為引起一般普羅大眾興趣,達到影視娛樂效果之作品。而不使之成為枯燥無味,之能讓內行人作學術分析之用的作品。並且將劇本拍攝的可行性也作為編寫的考量之一,避免使其成為一齣僅能停留在劇本階段的案頭劇。最終完成一部能讓內行人看門道,外行人看熱鬧,且達到符合戲劇系研究所水準的劇本。
The thesis explains the creative ideas and processes behind the screenplay, “Talking with Two Heads”, in which it includes various fundamental concepts and theories. It discusses the writing intent, references and methodology as well as elaborates on the main idea and audience’s expected reactions. Aristotle’s work, “Poetics”, along with other screenwriters’ books, forms the basis of the plot and events. The crisis and the conflicting events are inspired by the “Conflict”, “Crisis” and “Harmony” of Yi-Wei Yao’s book, “The Will of Drama”. Characterization is based on Carl Gustav Jung’s Archetype and is designed to articulate the essence of the screenplay. The dialogue and screen instructions referenced from many screenwriters’ books are expecting to achieve modern media standard. While maintaining within the bound of realism, the musical elements are integrated into the screenplay to create more entertaining effects. Throughout the script, Semiotics is used to pass on messages to provoke in depth thinking from readers. The screenplay adapts these creative concepts in hope to possess academic values as well as entertainment. From an academic point of view, this screenplay is not an arbitrary creation for it applies the basis of multiple theories. On the other hand, not only can it inspire the general public’s interest and provide enjoyment, it can also be used for academic analysis. Furthermore, feasibility for filming is considered to avoid the play from becoming a closet drama. Finally, this screenplay achieves the standard of Theatre Arts and is suitable for both professionals and the general audiences.
