稻米為台灣傳統主食以及重要作物。有機米因為有益於健康和環境而逐漸受到消費者歡迎。本研究回顧國內外相關文獻,並建立稻米供需聯立方程系統分析台灣有機米之溢價。透過此研究可分析台灣有機及非有機稻米供需曲線、供需彈性、比較其生產成本差異、消費者願付價值差異、及證實台灣有機米在市場中角色。此研究對台灣有機米產業進行深入性分析,能提供對有機米產業發展重要的資訊。
Rice is the traditional staple food and major crop in Taiwan. Organic rice is thriving due to the benefit to the environment and health. This study is proposed to establish a system of demand and supply model for organic and ordinary rice to analyze the roles of organic rice in the market. The inventory of this analysis includes (1) the demand and supply functions, (2) the elasticities and profitability of producers, (3) the cost difference of organic supply, (4) the price difference of organic rice at equilibrium. This study can provide meaningful information to shed insights for organic rice development in Taiwan.
