摘要:	日本文化於日據時代流入臺灣，在藝文方面，日本傳統文學的「俳句」發展迅速，不僅在明治31（1898）年已在俳句雜誌『ホトトギス』出現旅居臺灣的日本俳人作品，該雜誌更在次年介紹了一個俳句結社「台北社」。此後俳句在臺灣蓬勃發展，至明治末期幾乎各地都有俳句社團的出現，可說是極早融入臺灣風土的一項日本文藝。然而日據時期臺灣俳句的發展卻不如小說等散文類受到廣泛研究；而以研究現況來看，阿部誠文、磯田一雄等日本學者所做的關於台灣俳句之研究算是比較有系統而且完整。本計劃案主要探討日本俳人諏訪素濤(本名忠蔵)在臺灣的創作活動，以及他在日據時期對臺灣俳句發展之貢獻。素濤在明治末來到臺灣並積極參加俳句社團活動，同時熱心出版俳句集以及俳句雜誌，可說是明治到大正時期對臺灣俳句界發展有極大貢獻之俳人；然而諏訪素濤的事蹟以及其著作，相對山本孕江(同為日據時代的日本俳人)等其他俳人，並沒有受到太多的重視及關注。本研究重點有三，一是查明諏訪素濤個人的生平事蹟，闡述其創作理念。二是藉由收集、整理他所參與的俳句會(如「熱吟社」等)記錄，釐清這些俳句團體的活動。三是透過分析他所編輯的俳句選集(如『虎尾蘭』『犬供養』」等)，了解明治、大正時期臺灣俳句創作的面相。相信當以上三點目標都獲得詳盡闡述後，臺灣的俳句受容史及其相貌將更完整而清楚地呈現。 Haiku, one of Japanese traditional arts, developed rapidly in Taiwan during the period of Japanese colonial rule. Not only was the first haiku by Japanese in Taiwan released in a haiku magazine, “Hototogisu”, in Meiji 31 year (1898), but also the first haiku society was set up at that time. Then haiku became flourishing in Taiwan. It was said that haiku was one of Japanese traditional arts immersed in Taiwan’s culture. This research mainly focuses on the writing activities of Sotou Suwa, Japanese haiku poet, in Taiwan, and his contribution to the development of Taiwan haiku in the period of Japanese colonial rule. Sotou Suwa came to Taiwan in last years of Meiji period and participated in activities of the haiku societies enthusiastically. He also published the anthologies of haiku and haiku magazines eagerly. It can be said that he was one of the persons making great contribution to haiku development in Taiwan from the Meiji period to Taisho period. Even so, the achievements and works of Sotou Suwa has hardly been known. This study has three main points. First of all, the author tries to reveal Sotou Suwa’s life and careers and clarifies Sotou Suwa’s idea on the creative writing. Secondly, the significance of the haiku societies that Sotou Suwa participated in, for example, Netsu poetry society etc. will be made clear by collecting and analyzing the information of those societies. After examining the anthologies of haiku which he made, for instance, Kobiran and Inukuyou, we will know the characteristics of Taiwan haiku. The acceptance of Taiwan haiku will reveal thoroughly and plainly through the elaboration of the main points above.
