摘要: | 雖然生物資訊龐雜,隨時有更多新的資訊加入,但是對於生物物種資訊的交流,有其一定程度的需要。在既有的生物物種分類架構下,運用電腦資訊觀念,賦予生物物種分類新面貌,以符合現代網路發達的環境運用。
XML的標籤結構有彈性可以方便加入新資訊,階層式特徵和生物分類的架構相同,資料和脈絡並存在文件內,方便理解資料代表的意義。物件識別碼(Object Identifier, OID)唯一和階層的特性與動植物種類在分類上唯一和階層的特性相同。因此使用OID和XML為基礎,利用原生型XML資料庫,研究一套適合處理動植物種類資料的管理模型,用以管理生物資訊,並提供簡單方便的資料交換方法,讓有意增進處理動植物種類資料方式的單位有管理上的參考。
Representing biological information faces challenges of inherent complexity of biological data and constantly evolving knowedge. But the need of biological information exchange has not reduced. Under existing species classification framework and using computer processing information concepts, let the species classification have new appearance to meet the network application environment.
The flexible nature of XML tag is easy to add new information. Hierarchy feature of XML structure is similar to species classification. Data and context in the same XML document is suitable for understanding. The features of unique and hierarchy between Object IDentifier and species classification are the same. For the reason, this research based on OID and XML, using native XML database present an animal and plant species information management model. The model is able to manage biological information and simple query. This model may be referred by any organization which intends to improve the management of biological information. |
