在過去對於電腦病毒(或稱惡意程式)的散布,早期是透過軟碟片或光碟進行檔案操作(執行如*.exe、*.com等執行檔)時進行感染擴散,慢慢地,隨著網際網路的盛行,使得感染途徑漸漸改變成為透過電子郵件(如:垃圾廣告郵件夾帶惡意程式等)或是透過瀏灠網頁(如:在網頁內崁入惡意程式,當瀏灠網頁時惡意程式即會被下載並且執行)等方式散布,而隨著資料量使用的遞增與使用USB隨身碟的便利與日益普及使用,越來越多不肖份子或非法集團便藉由其USB隨身碟的便利性與普及性來散布USB病毒,竊取個人機隱資料、入侵電腦等破壞,造成使用者的損失,因此USB隨身碟也漸漸成為惡意程式散布的主要途徑之一。
本研究係以對於防護USB病毒時,該防護上是否會對系統效能與穩定性有所影響,是否對使用者操作便利,以及是否能有效地防護遭已知或未知型USB病毒的感染為主要研究目標,以降低USB病毒所帶來的困擾與危機。
In the past, when executing the executable files such as *.exe and *.com, the viruses or malware speeded into computers via disks or CDs. Recently, with the prevalence of the Internet, the situations of computer infections and the methods of spreading malware are changing to emails (ex. attached spam with malware) or browsing the web pages (ex. If malicious codes were embed within a web page, the malware will be downloaded and executed.). With incremental usages of the data and USB flash drive, more and more illegal groups distributed viruses(malware) through the USB flash drive, stealing the personal information and hacking computers. This will bring great damages to users. The USB flash drive has gradually become one of the main ways to spread malware.
This research is about the virus protection mechanism schema for USB, the main purpose of this research is to tell whether the schema will increase any extra burden for the operating system, will it reduce performance, as well as if the schema can keep users convenience in an efficient way. The schema can effectively protect the USB flash drive infected by known or unknown USB viruses and can reduce USB viruses spreading. It will avoid the distress and crisis caused by USB viruses.
