摘要:	現今的國際貿易，中間財貿易的重要性越來越高。電子資訊產業無論是產值、進出口或者是在國際分工的重要性上，一直是台灣的重要產業。本研究以Hummels, Ishii, and Yi (2001)提出的垂直專業化貿易指標為基礎，來衡量台灣電子資訊產業的中間財貿易，以下以「VSHIY」表示，是為本研究的第一種衡量指標；第二種衡量指標為本研究提出的方式，以「VSY」表示。在此以台灣產業關聯表的資料，期了解台灣電子資訊產業的垂直專業化貿易程度，以及其與該產業的國內產出之關係。最後再以相關係數來驗證上述兩種指標，以判斷出較佳的衡量方式。本研究經由驗證後發現，無論是以整體台灣電子資訊產業或是其三位數分類產業來看，皆以「VSHIY」來計算其垂直專業化貿易程度較佳。但有些「產品偏向最終財」的產業，例如視聽電子產品業，其垂直專業化貿易程度以「VSY」衡量較佳。 The importance of trade in intermediate goods is increased over time. The electronic and information industry is an important industry in Taiwan in terms of outputs, employment, and trade. This study measures the extent of vertical specialization in Taiwanese electronic and information industry. The first indicator is proposed by Hummels, Ishii, and Yi (2001), VSHIY. The second one is proposed by this study, VSY.We use Input-Output table data of Taiwan. The purpose of this study is to understand the extent of vertical specialization and its output in the Taiwanese electronic and information industry. In order to determine a better way, we compare the two indicators by their corresponding R2. And the result is, the electronic and information industry or most of its three-digit sub-industry, VSHIY is a better measure than VSY. However, for industries of final goods such as audio-visual electronic products, VSY is a better measure than VSHIY*.
