    論文提要

    道家美學是以道為核心的形上美學,老子哲學充滿玄妙之美,具有「創生」義蘊,莊子哲學則有「變化」和「虛靜」的本質,兩者在空間層次承接分明,且互有聯繫。老莊雖然沒有提出任何美學之詞,但藉著道法自然的論述,展開生命本真的素樸之美。
    美學發展迄今已二百多年,歷年討論藝術精神,往往受限於審美經驗條件說的規定性,與藝術對象化的兩難。其實,藝術乃建立於道的體悟與美感的實踐,道家講述「為道日損」的觀點,對道美一體的齊物精神,不論是客體超驗說,或主體坐忘說,其「無為」、「體用不二」等物化概念,對生命流變與文明發展來說,都是具有世界圖象之重建意義。
    本文從審美問題意識,展開道家美學與藝術精神的研究,特別是,道家宇宙生成論、道氣論和形神論等主張對中國歷代文藝作品的影響。研究過程中發現:道家主張宗法自然、去除人慾,坐忘、虛靜、用無的功夫,廣泛的在詩詞、繪畫及人生境界上起作用;歷代作品也不斷受老莊天人一體觀的影響,並且明顯地傳承與轉化。
    道家美學是生命的哲學,充滿著道的無限生機,包含藝術審美及心靈內在修持,潛藏著宇宙奧秘的原型。透過作品與美學精神的重新審視,對人類現代心靈有撫慰與新生的力量。
