| 摘要: | 西方藝術史的經典作品中，雖有許多不同類型的繪畫題材，但社會性議題的創作一直是西方藝術重要的一環。社會寫實主義畫作所探討的不只是表層的社會現象，更是歷史性畫家真面貌的寫照，讓後人對於文化脈絡有更直接的概念。本論文以社會主義代表性畫家古斯塔夫．庫爾貝(Gustave Courbet，1819－1877)作為撰寫主軸，以及東方社會主義代表畫家洪瑞麟（1912－1996）的內在精神作為研究對象，藉由繪畫創作技法探討社會主義的存在性價值：
第二章，簡述何謂社會寫實主義，研究社會寫實主義畫作的創作意涵與藝術堅持。第三章，詮釋社會寫實主義的存在性價值，提出社會寫實對於現代藝術有何影響？第四章，以庫爾貝和洪瑞麟這兩位代表性藝術家作為論述對象，深入研究畫家的藝術作品與創作內容。第五章，除了分析個人作品之外，又做一總結，轉化社會寫實精神使其成為藝術性的創作思惟，進而繪製出個人作品。當然，在本論文中亦不忘研究社會寫實主義繪畫的未來發展性，並把研究成果做一總結。
Abstract
Art history there are many different types of subject matter, the creation of social issues has always been an important part of Western art, social realism is not only the surface of social phenomena, but also reflects the true face of history, so that future generations of cultural context a more direct understanding of the possible.
