| 摘要: | 王拓在七○年代是台灣鄉土文學作家的重要代表人物，其創作內容包括小說、兒童文學、少年文學、報導文學、評論篇章等，但世人大多將焦點集中在其漁民小說，而忽略其他類別作品。要瞭解作家的作品，就必須全盤知曉作家的生長背景與作品的內容，因此本論文研究的重點，在深入洞悉王拓其人及其作品，從作家的成長經歷與性格，去發覺在創作各篇作品時的目的與動機，進
而了解其作品的真正意涵，以及王拓作品所帶給後世及文壇的貢獻與影響。
本論文以王拓所有的作品為研究對象，透過文本的閱讀評析，且融合相關學術評論進行探究。王拓是一位有情有義，用生命在創作的寫實作家，在鄉土文學論戰中以鋒利筆伐脫穎而出，自此在文壇上發光發熱。就作品觀之；作家以敏銳細膩的心思，觀察社會上市井人物和寫實事件，其筆調沉著樸實以及直爽義勇的性格，造就在文壇上快速顯露個人鮮明之創造風格。蔣勳與高天生二位文壇學者分別稱讚王拓是「寫實文學中新起的道德力量」以及「新社會的旗手」，足見王拓之作品在台灣的文學與社會上所奠立的重要地位。而王拓對於親人、家鄉、國族之愛戀，展現出個人的人道關懷體現也可在作品裡窺見，因此就社會、政治、人文三面作為分析，得知王拓的作品帶給文學界的影響力。至於王拓作品的貢獻部分，以漁民文學和政治(牢獄)文學的成就最大，王拓在漁民小說中揭露出漁村的困頓問題，突顯社會資源發展的分配不均，並展現討海人堅忍卓絕的精神。也藉由政治(牢獄)小說的書寫將七○年代台灣所發生的重大歷史事件記錄下來，成為寫實的歷史教材。
綜觀王拓的作品，可以發現由於時代、環境背景的交錯碰撞與作家敏銳的觀察力，王拓在逆境中開創出屬於自己的文學作品道路，為讀者帶來不同的視野，在七○年代的台灣作家中，具有承先啟後的影響，而作品中對於市井小民的深刻觀察，更展現出對於人性的關懷。
