This study is designing a dry web formation mechanism for forming l00% stainless steel web. In this mechanism, the stainless steel fibers were open by the drafting roller, then the suction air flow collect these loss fibers on the conveyer and forming a web. We use stainless steel sliver as raw material in this mechanism. After drafting, the stainless steel fibers were fully separated with well fiber length and constant export from front roller. Particularly, this web forming mechanism was required the stainless steel fibers evenness laid on the conveyer and forming a web. The results prove that roller drafting – air laid formation can manufacture evenness and thinner stainless steel web.
