We used the stainless steel filament, polyester filament and the thermoplastic material, polypropylene non-woven selvage to produce the plied yarn by rotor twister. This high-performance plied yarn possesses better physical properties than the traditional ones. We changed our process parameters, rotor speed and wrapped numbers, and exchanged the constitution of core and wrap numbers to produce several kinds of samples. Then we wove them into fabrics and measured their strength and elongation. This functional fabric can be used to protect us against the electromagnetic wave and static electricity.
