In general, the textile products have color fading problems after adding antimicrobial agent, which extensively affect the appearance of textile products. The purpose of this study was to discuss the effect of adding TINOSAM AM100 on cotton, polyester and nylon fabrics, through the dying process. The changes on the hue, value and saturation of aforementioned red, yellow and blue textile products were investigated. The results (based on the Data of L(superscript *)、a(superscript *)、b(superscript *)) indicated that after adding TINOSAM AM100, the hue of red, yellow and blue changed significantly on cotton fabric, only the hue of blue and yellow changed slightly on polyester and nylon fabrics, respectively. The value and saturation changed obviously on cotton fabric only. In addition, the effect of TINOSAM AM100 on the hue of cotton fabric decreased, and the value and saturation of cotton fabric decreased with increasing the concentration of dye. On the contrary, the hue, value and saturation of nylon fabric increased with the concentration increasing but no significant change on the hue, value and saturation of polyester fabric.
