The functional textile value added is connected with the difficulties of finished process. And the durability of waterproof/breathable textiles is always concern by the consumers. In this study is to evaluate the durability of waterproof/breathable textiles after laundering. Continues wash for constant time without dryer is one way of laundering, another is wash and dryer for 1 cycle. After two different laundering, to carry out water resistance, water repellency, moisture permeability and Water vapor resistance 4 tests of the 7 specimen types and analyze the data to get the best condition that could save the time and the cost of manufactures and retailers. The results indicated that the cycle washing is easy and effective way.
