In this study, the composite were prepared by waterborne polyurethane and nano TiO2, hope to make photodegrable PU. The effect of photodegradation by add different nano TiO2 ratio and different time of UV light irradiate were explored. From experimental results showed that the PU film without add nano TiO2 after UV light irradiate, the strength properties have no obvious change. When add appropriate for nano TiO2 ratio after UV light irradiate, the strength and thermal properties have been trending down. And the structure also changed, a lot of functional groups disappeared. And the view of surface became rough and brought cracks. Obviously, PU adds nano TiO2 is helpful to speed up photodegadation of PU after UV light irradiates. Become an environmental protection material.
