To assess fashion design performance is a challenge, due to the work itself with the subjective characters. The strategy, that how to make the assessment more objective, is to develop and implement the assessment rubrics. The assessment rubrics will lead the students realize their works will be based on these criteria to evaluate public. These key items of the assessment will lead the students have the bright to know how to develop, modify and decision in their designing processes. Since the fashion design of postmodernism is multiple stream, there is a necessary to use the evaluation strategy. For the educational purpose, the use of assessment rubrics will enhance the students to discuss with the instructors in learning process and to conduct and modify the final designs. This study use Delphi Technique to integrate 13 fashion design experts' opinions of fashion design assessment rubrics to consistence by 4-point scale. After the four rounds of Delphi technique process, the fashion design assessment rubrics include six items, including: Theme, Fashion Sense, Innovation, Aesthetics, Entire, and Touch the Consumer Heart. If the fashion design performance is the practice garment, the Sophisticate will be the 7th assessment item. There are high inter-rater reliability and effect size after the exploring test by using the fashion design assessment rubric in this study.
