本研究主要在探討菊島文化，找出菊島文化中的藝術元素及當地具代表性的象徵，將其應用於品設計上。將設計靈感與創意巧思结合，以增加織品的附加價值。服装的製作是運用立體剪裁的方式，製做出符合設計靈感的款式，再運用材料的性質，加以顯现出織品藝術舆菊島文化結合後的美感。
The research is conferred the artistic elements and the local representation symbols of the Chrysanthemum island. Then put the inspiration and the creativity conceptions in the fabric designing so that the value of fabrics could be added. The clothing manufactured with pattern draping, and designed with the elements from nature. The esthetic of the fabric arts with the Chrysanthemum island culture could be appeared.
