We extend the signed distance and ranking of the fuzzy numbers on R = (-∞, ∞) in Yao and Wu[18] to those of the fuzzy sets on R and consider its algebraic structure. We use signed distance and centroid to defuzzify the total cost in the fuzzy sense in fuzzy inventory without backorder. Through these two methods, we have two estimations of the total cost in the fuzzy sense. Moreover we can get the optimal solution in the fuzzy sense. |
