The subject" Pu Sung-ling's Poetry for Relics" is a small part of current existed over 900 poems written by Pu Sung-ling, the author of , Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio. ' Not only is Pu good at writing legend and mystery stories, but also expert in poetry and folk songs; just because the' Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio' was famous earlier, the achievement of poetry was covered. Several years ago, the writer has written many pieces of thesis regarding poetry of ' Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio' , after classification and induction, to present on the V 01s. 17 - 21 of Hua Kang Journal of Humanities. Now review the' Poetry for a Chinese Studio' again to select the part' relics' here of as the subject of this thesis. The thesis consists of five headings, namely' bridge and shrine', ' temple' , 'tower', 'pavilion', terrace etc. relics as the object for analysis, interpretation and even for verification. Bridge is 'Red Bridge' in Yangchou, and shrine is 'Pa-wang Shrine' in Suchien that were written by Pu when he traveled in Chianghuai. Such two relics show the different evaluation made among Pu, people in southern China and history. As to the 'temple' and other headings, 'Ching-yung Temple' is in Tzuchuan, Pu's hometown, which Pu described the round vision of the temple when he visited his friend. 11 the other relics in Chi-nan. No matter by the way of realism or impressionism, side or front, his writing style is charmingly delicate, but simple and kind that is wroth of appreciation considerably. What's pity is my expounding is not enough penetrating just as being afraid of misunderstanding his real meaning.
