    Abstract: 《文心雕龍》的作者把文體分為三十三類,以三十三類分屬文筆兩大系統。 兩大系統之間,以「韻」、「偶語」、「藻采」為切入點,以「押韻」、「對偶」、「采 飾」之有無,辨別文筆。其文筆之分合乎文類學原理,本無可議。然而文筆之下,支類的設置,多有瑕疵:一體多分者有之;一類多體者有之。類別往往混淆,區畫或有交疊,引起後世研究者質疑。 本文由《文心雕龍》的文類現象探求《文心雕龍》的文體本質。站在分類視點的立場,高屋建瓴,析論各體的分類標準因斷定其文體分類,標準多重,是由多視點的審視所建構起來的多標準文體學。這種多標準文體學所建立的文 類,如忽略其標準的運用範園,而整體地妄加並列相比,自然會產生文類混淆、 交疊的現象;如在文筆下,再依視點作第二層次群分,各群區內支類自成系統,則各視點界限劃然,互不侵犯;而各視點下的支類在其視點區域內必守界相安,井然有序,成一以文、筆為上層,以視點為中層,以各視點下支類為下層的文類秩序,故我們可以說,《文心雕龍》的文類學,乃由多視點多標準的類型組合而成的混合式文類學了。

    The author of Wenxindiaolong divides literary style into two main categories of Wen and Bi, which further divide into 33 sub-categories. The division of two main categories is decided from the viewpoint of “rhyme", “parallel sentences" and “flowery style of language. " Wen and Bi are thus categorised according to whether there exists “rhyming" ,“Parallel sentencing" or “use of flowery language". The division of literature into Wen and Bi uncontestably accords with the basic principles of literary classification. However, problems exist with the sub-categories under Wen and Bi . similar sub-categorical styles, which should be in the same mam category, end up separated, and the same stylistic sub-category often simultaneously appears in the different main categories. The division into sub-categories is thus not totally clear, with the frequent occurrence of overlapping, arousing criticism from later scholars. This study explores the basic nature of literary style in “Wenxindiaolong" from the viewpoint of its system of stylistic classification. Analysing the standards used in stylistic classification from the standpoint of classificatory perspective, we can say that its stylistic classification is multi-standard-a multi-standard classification of literary style built upon a multi-perspective examination of stylistic classification. Twenty-two points, plus triple-ward-score, plus fifty points for using all my letters. Game's over. I'm outta here.
