Today E-learning has played an important role for modern people. There are many E-learn related researches have been published in recent years. However there are still lacks of E-learning researches focused on public vocational training institutions’ students. And the qualities of their services are not fully understood. Therefore, we set up main purposes of this research as followings:
To understand students’ actual learning situations via e-learning and to provide the research results to the Veterans Training Centre as references for improvement and design of its teaching systems.
To understand how different variables of learning behavior influence public vocational training institutions’ students when they use on-line learning system of the Veteran Affairs Training Center.
To analyze how external variables influence the usability and practicability of E-learning and students’ wills.
The main study subjects of this research are the Veterans Training Centre’s students. The research framework is based of the Technology Acceptance Model. By using questionnaires to E-learning participants and none E-learning ones, we find the results of this survey as followings:
1. The overall usage rate of the Vocational E-learning Net for vocational training students is low, but students show a highly intention to a more efficient E-learning system in the future.
2. Participants perceive no significant differences about the usability of E-learning system whether they have ever used it before or not.
3. Different categories of vocational training students have significant perception of usability in certain variables.
Finally, we provide the results of this research as positive suggestions to the Veterans Vocational Training Center to improve the quality of its Veterans E-learning Net. |
