Since ancient times, water and human lives were closely related. People attracted by water, enjoyed the joy of living by the waterside and revel of the natural landscape with water scenery. Waterscape contains a wealth beauty and artistic conception, inspiring imaginations and the creations of millions artists. Its ever-changing form, invisible mysteries and illusions bring out abundant sources for author's creative works. Therefore the author used waterscape as the theme of this research. Discussions as follows:
Chapter two explores the shape, physical characteristics, the color change at diffent forms and its spiritual implications of water.
The third chapter discussed the development of the waterscape painting in history.
