The main purpose of this research is to investigate the awareness on chain salon brands for hair dressers and the current status of on-job training, which is also to understand their views and opinions after the training.
This research is via the questionnaire survey from more than 15well-known chain salons in the area north of Hsinchu and summarized with 467 valid samples. The three measurement tools in this research are "personal background information survey ", " chain brand awareness scale ", " on-job training scale ", which are applied by frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent samples t test, one factor ANOVA and Scheffe post hoc test method, Pearson correlation and other statistical methods for data analysis.
The results are as follows:
1.Hairdressers: seventy five percent female and twenty five percent male.
2.Hairdressers in the 20 to 29 years old accounted for up to hirty
eight percent, and followed by 16 to 19 years old of thirty one
percent .
3.Education level to "high school or vocational high school, " accounted fo
rup to a total sixty one percent hairdressers.
4.High school or vocational high school apprenticeship students employed
in the of the average monthly income of 17,880 below accounted for up to
thirty six percent.
5.About seventy one percent hairdressers are unmarried.
6.About eighty one percent chain salon brands is Guide.
7.The hairdresser work experience of 3 years to 5 years accounted for
twenty four percent is the most.
8.About thirty six percent employees rank as the most majority are designers.
9.Chain hair salons in Taiwan, own more than 151 take sixty percent as the
majority.
10.Hairdressers raise the "professional skills " as the most important in the
"chain brand recognition" section.
11.Hairdressers take "Training Scale " as very helpful in " the professional
knowledge enhancement " and "the professional skills enhancement".
12."Employee loyalty to the corporate brand " and "The ability to enhance
the work efficiency with new learned skills" take the highest correlation.
This is to provide the awareness on chain salon brands and a better understanding of training effectiveness, as well as to enhance the quality of hairdressing industry standard of reference.
