    摘要: 地球孕育萬物, 畫家每每為萬物感動來表現作品。本人試圖透
    過大自然生態環境的描寫, 呈現出一種對於自然的觀察方法以及表
    現手法, 甚而有此觀察與表現的過程中開展出自己的創作理念。為
    此, 本人選擇具有獨特地景的月世界作為表現對象。
    為表現此一環境, 本人先針對此一特殊景觀作資料蒐集, 從中
    發掘足以作為創作的題材。對象物體的外形並無固定不變化, 在描
    繪月世界山形期間, 本人研究月世界植物的生長法則。其中也參閱
    前人創作精神以及手段, 融合近代水墨表現之精神, 進而表達屬於
    個人的創作風格。
    除此之外, 透過對於客觀事物的理解與感受, 內化外在自然,
    呈現出數種描寫月世界的手法, 這些手法的運用也因為自然時序與
    一日四時的變化而起萬物興衰榮枯之感。因此, 本人也將這些逐漸
    凝煉而成的個人風格與早晨、傍晚、夜晚氣氛相互融合, 使得月世
    界具有有機生命, 呈現出豐富而躍動的自然萬象。
    最後,本人對於對象的描繪並非只在於外形, 亦注意其理念的
    提升,將月世界發展為獨特視覺元素, 轉化成符號。在轉化的過程
    中, 賦予精神意涵。因此本人所表現的月世界不只是紀錄台灣美麗
    的生態環境, 同時也將個人與時代的感受透過近於視覺符號做種種
    變形與聯想。
    A painter can find inspiration in the myriad of infinite creations in the universe. Through attempting to create ecological portraits of nature, I hope to present my own observations and expressions of nature, and develop my own creative concepts in this process. For this project, I have especially chosen to paint the unique landscape of the Moonscape Scenic Area in Tainan County.
    In addition, by understanding and experiencing the emotions felt for objective matters, I tried to internalize my feelings for the exterior world of nature and present numerous ways of portraying Moonscape. Due to the cyclical nature of life and the different times during which these depictions were created, the works showed various phases of changes in nature. As a personal style began to take shape, I added impressions of morning, evening, and nightfall, hoping to infuse Moonscape with an organic vitality that embodies the rich and abundant phenomena of nature.
    Lastly, I did not only seek to paint the contour and shape of the landscape, but hoped to elevate the artistic concepts involved and make Moonscape into a unique visual element, thereby transforming it into a symbol. The process of transformation give the subject matter meaning and spirit. The Moonscape which I attempt to present is one that not only displays the beautiful ecological landscape of Taiwan, but also a visual symbol that has been given personal and contemporary sensibilities and allows for various transformations and associations.
