    摘要: 虛擬實境具有「使用者即時互動性」、「資訊視覺化呈現」和「情境模擬學習」的特性,主要應用在「地理空間資訊導覽系統」上,由於以虛擬實境技術建構的空間環境,常會造成使用者因「空間迷失」(Spatial Disorientation),降低空間認知學習效率。
    為解決使用者在瀏覽虛擬實境的過程中所造成的空間迷失問題,必先了解使用者在虛擬空間中遊走時是如何學習空間以及建構空間知識。本研究將在虛擬實境的空間認知這方面進行文獻的相關研究蒐集,並探討不同種類的地標傳達給使用者的訊息,是否有利於對環境產生基礎認知。
    本研究將在虛擬環境中導入「整體地標」以及「局部地標」觀察其對資訊提取得影響效果,以及空間認知地圖中資訊的學習過程,並欲了解在虛擬空間中置入整體地標與局部地標是否能在受試者在尋路時造成影響。最後將人類在學習虛擬空間資訊後所採取的路徑進行充分的效能比較。
    研究結果指出,兩種地標資訊何種較能給予方向性的指示,並導引受試者更快的直達終點,即是達到更高的尋路績效。且無論是在尋路時間或是行走距離上,「整體地標組」均有較好的表現,並且較無重複瀏覽的狀況,亦即較無空間迷失的情況產生。所以,綜而觀之,「整體地標」較能給予受試者方向性的指示也因此受試者能有較佳的尋路績效表現。

    With the characteristics of “user-instant-interactivity”, “information visualization” and “situational simulative learning”, Virtual Reality is mainly used in “Geospatial Information Navigating System”, but due to the Spatial Disorientation caused by spatial environment which is built with Virtual Reality technology, the user’s cognitive learning efficiency is often reduced.
    In order to solve the problem of Spatial Disorientation that happens during the user’s browsing in Virtual Reality, it is necessary to know how the user acquires the knowledge of space and spatial construction while wandering in the virtual space. This paper aims at collecting and researching relevant documents on spatial cognition of Virtual Reality, and exploring whether the information delivered by different kinds of landmark can be helpful to the user’s basic cognition on environment.
    This research observes the effect on information-collecting in Virtual Environment after importing global landmark and local landmark, the knowledge learning process in spatial cognitive map and whether global landmark or local landmark in virtual space can influence the testee’s pathfinding. Finally the research makes sufficient performance comparison over the route taken by people who studies virtual space knowledge and the best route figured out by calculation.
    The results show that the information of the two landmarks which can provide better directional indications and faster guidance for the testee to reach the destination is the greater achievement in pathfinding. And either in time or distance “global landmark” has a better performance without repeated browsing, which means it leads to less occurrence of Spatial Disorientation. Therefore, “global landmark” provides better directional instructions and enables the testee to have a better performance in pathfinding.
