Abstract:	生活在二十一世紀的今天，在追求繁複物質享受之外，如何應用藝術融入生活空間，而不過度著眼於物質的界面，回到最純粹、簡單的精神層面。而這正是現代人們在奢華與繁複過頭之後所亟望回歸的一種渴求，即是簡單、無華的形式與內涵，即簡約到不能再「簡」的冀求。 "Less is More"，密斯‧凡德羅(Mies van der Rohe)提出的"少即是多"，成為極簡主義的經典名句。極簡主義(Minimalism)透過簡單的幾何形式將空間設計的表現形式，呈現出一種獨特的簡潔的美學風格。極簡建築在建築空間形式上強調幾何量體的表現形式，主張形式簡單、功能性與理性的設計理念，反對裝飾化的設計風格。希望在簡單形式之下，透過運用材料的特性和建築結構的形式來表達極簡建築設計的的精神。這樣簡約的設計概念有別於之前的新古典主義與現代主義，基於這樣的表現形式，促使本研究極簡主義在空間設計上的影響及應用材料的特性和透過構築性的設計概念中展現極簡主義的精神。 Living in the twenty-first century, in addition to the persuit of the complexed material comforts, we ought to learn how to intergrade the art into our living space, not to over-focus on the materialism, but to return to the pure and simple spirit - the urge of modern people after being bombarded by indulgence and exuberance, in another words, the hope of being in the simple, minimal form and spirit, which can no longer be simplified. "Less is More" by Mies van der Rohe has become the famous motto of minimalism. Through a simple geometric form, the minimalist have transcended the expression of space design, showing a unique style of simple aesthetics. In the architecural form, Minimalism architecture emphasizes on the style of geometric volume and advocates the simple, highly functional and rational design, but object to ornamental design style. In the simple form, through the use of the materials with their inherent properties and structures of architectural design, we hope to express the spirit of minimalism. This simple design concept differs from the previous neo-classical and modern doctrine. Based on the manifestations, this enable the study of minimalism in space design, the application of materials and the concept of the structure design to demonstrate the spirit of minimalism.
