Abstract
The study is to understand Baocan Wang’s motive for creation and his performing philosophy regarding the four “Jiang-Zhou Drum Music” created by Baocan Wang - “Roll call of soldiers by the king of Qin”, “Rolling walnuts”, “The drum beats of Yellow River”, “Fight between the bull and the tiger”, which are frequently performed in recent years in Taiwan through data collection and analysis, interview and field learning and operation. The author further interprets and analyzes the ideas closest to original inventor, which regarded as a reference to future performers.
