| 摘要: | 鑒於國內健康新聞，多為廣泛報導健康議題，而未重視慢性疾病所衍生相關議題，也就是較少專以慢性疾病新聞為主的報導，然而，高齡化人口增加、慢性疾病所耗損社會成本逐年攀升，令人不得不重視。另外，臺灣博碩士論文亦少有以慢性疾病為主要的新聞議題研究，因此，本研究特別以「慢性疾病的新聞報導內容研究」做為研究主題。研究的目的主要為：探討臺灣媒體如何報導慢性疾病，包含慢性疾病在新聞報導的報導量、新聞主題、消息來源、內容呈現方式等。
由於Yahoo奇摩新聞為國內所有商業入口網站新聞頻道版內專為「慢性疾病」建立單元，故本研究選擇Yahoo奇摩新聞為其研究對象。另外，為深入探究慢性疾病新聞報導，本研究採內容分析法做為資料收集方法，其方式為透過商業入口網站新聞頻道─Yahoo奇摩新聞（tw.news.yahoo.com），進一步尋找「健康」子網頁，並從該網頁，逐一搜尋各媒體報導「健康」的相關議題，且本研究從「健康」版的「慢性疾病」單元或從搜尋引擎，鍵入「慢性疾病」關鍵字，尋找適當的新聞報導內容做為分析樣本。經過關鍵字搜尋及篩選後，選擇自2010年四月一日至2010年九月三十日共二百二十二則新聞報導內容做為研究對象。
經研究分析後，最後得到的結論：Yahoo奇摩新聞網中有關慢性疾病新聞報導之媒體來源主要為報紙及網路；慢性疾病種類取向分布多為「其他慢性疾病」，其他的慢性疾病涵蓋了精神疾病、神經系統疾病、內分泌及代謝疾病、骨骼肌肉系統及結締組織之疾病等；慢性疾病新聞報導最常被關注的三大主題：「慢性疾病之衛教及保健」、「慢性疾病之症狀及特徵」，以及「慢性疾病之治療」；慢性疾病新聞報導之主題呈現語氣向度傾向於「負向語氣」；慢性疾病新聞報導之消息來源，以「醫師」消息來源最多。
最後，建議未來的研究者能延續本研究做相關性研究，並將其他慢性疾病細分化及深入報導；在媒體方面，可多運用電視媒體報導慢性疾病相關議題，亦更加關注國人十大死因之心臟病相關議題報導；慢性疾病法令及政策可多加強報導，以提醒民眾重視慢性疾病相關的宣導及政策；消息來源採納各方消息，如專家學者、社會團體、醫院診所、醫院內其他醫事人員，甚至是民眾的意見來源；內容呈現方式採多樣化報導形式，如解釋性新聞、特寫、專欄、解答信箱、讀者投書或專家資訊等多樣樣貌呈現，更可廣泛接觸不同類型的閱聽人，以激發不同的觀點及思維。
ABSTRACT
In view of news reports in Taiwan, most reports are about health issues. The
news reports often neglected chronic ailments and relative issues. There are few of
news of chronic ailments reported in mass media. We should consider the significance
of domestic aging people and chronic diseases increasing, which wore off social cost
year after year. In addition, few dissertations and theses of Taiwan focus on news
reports of chronic diseases. This paper tries to focus on the topic of “A Study on News
Report on Chronic Diseases”.
This paper will aim on these subjects: discussing how the media report chronic
diseases in Taiwan, including the amount of coverage, the topic of news, the source of
information and the way of presentation, etc. This research expects to provide the
present situation of Taiwan medium reporting chronic illness for reference and
research of medical institutions, government agencies and mass medium.
To further explore the news of chronic diseases, this paper adopts content
analysis as a method of data collecting and searches category of health from the
business news channel Yahoo News (tw.news.yahoo.com) to investigate the
information of the entire medium reporting health and relative issues. The Yahoo
News is only one website of all commercial portal channels in Taiwan to build the
column about chronic disease. For this reason, this paper uses Yahoo News for
research subject to search keywords and proper news report as analytical samples.
After screening data out, this paper select two hundreds and twenty news contents as
the research objects from April 1, 2010 to September 30, 2010.
After research and analysis, the final conclusions are as follows. The sources of
reports on chronic diseases in Yahoo News are from newspapers and network. The
kinds of chronic diseases selecting are mostly from “other chronic diseases”. Besides,
the type of other chronic diseases covered mental illness, neurological diseases,
endocrine and metabolic diseases, musculoskeletal system and connective tissue
diseases, etc. The reports of chronic diseases mostly concern three main topics: the
health care and education of chronic diseases, the symptoms and characteristics of
chronic diseases and the treatments of chronic diseases. The subject of news reports of
chronic diseases tends to express negative mood. The news sources of chronic
diseases came greatly from the medical doctors. |
