    Abstract: 身為全球村的公民,以及受大學教育的知識份子,務必要知曉族群意識的源起與作用,面對當代族群衝突事件越演越烈,我們更應該正確地瞭解我族中心主義及文化相對論的內涵。本文從當代的種族、宗教、文化等面向,依據傳媒報導事件,舉例詳加剖析,並從歷史縱軸洞察今日習俗差異與紛亂四起源頭。作者訴求支除對異文化的刻板印象,真心觀察欣賞他者多元文化之美。如此公民人文素養,將促使臺灣的社會邁向和諧、共生的新紀元。
    As a citizen of global village and a well educated intellectual, we has e to realize how the ethnicity rises and functions. Facing the radical ethnic conflicts get seriously, one should understand the content of ethnocentrism and cultural relativism correctly. A detail analysis of this study focus on racial, religious and cultural dimensions to deal with ethnic problems: through reporting events from press and historical documentary records on the origin and variation of folk and chaos. The aim is to show boss to remove stereotypes on others culture, sincerely observe their beauty within. Such literate issues will promote the contemporary Taiwan becomes harmony, symbiosis society to a new era.
