    Abstract: 由於王維融田園詩、山水詩於一爐的宗師地位確立，研究其詩者便多以「田園山水詩」為論題；此便引發筆者僅就「田園詩」進行探究的興趣，本文即是依據「田園詩」為範疇加以思索，論述王維對田園生活的傾慕與神往。在全面檢視王維的創作，並綜觀其生平事蹟後，筆者察覺到田園是詩人心中的理想國，這個國度景色美好、人情單純，能讓詩人不用心機，自由自在地過日子，正是參禪悟道除山水之外的絕佳地點；而仕途的難捨，雖然導致王維終其一生未能如願歸園田居，卻也深化了他對田園生活的傾慕與神往。
