Abstract:	本章為老子尚德說，王弼以來，各家說者多未得其旨，故誤釋不免，「知之者不言」句，有以「知」解作「智」者；有以「言」為「言說」者，並誤釋也。又不明「塞穴、閉門」，「和光、同塵」，「挫銳、解紛」何所指涉，故不得其解。老子曰「知之者不言」，「知之」乃指「知德者」，「言」指「政令」，此謂「知德之可貴者，不以政令為之」，故下文曰「玄同」、乃「玄同於德」；「故為天下貴」，乃「故德為天下貴」之省略。而「塞穴、閉門」，是謂去「仁」；「和光、同塵」，是謂去「義」；「挫銳、解紛」，是謂去「禮」。去其所執，順乎自然，則能不困為親疏、利害、貴賤，是能深同於「德」也，故德為天下貴。由於各家注《老》者，多未能確解，故為文析解之。
